The presence of the Louise Hopkins Underwood Center for the Arts in Lubbock enriches our community by inspiring creativity and bring people together. For the past four years, Stellar Media has had the privilege of producing videos for LHUCA’s annual gala.

Toni Arnett is a nationally acclaimed local artist who has been an instrumental proponent of the arts in Lubbock. While her paintings have hung in galleries worldwide, Ms. Arnett prefers to be known as an artist in her own hometown. Her talent combined with her dedication to local arts are why she is this year’s recipient of the William D. Kerns Award for the Visual Arts.

One of the things we love most about what we do is getting to have a conversations with new and interesting people. Jay and Pam Brown were no exception! As the 2017 honorees of the William D. Kerns Award for the Performing Arts, they encourage the entire Lubbock area to participate in local theater through acting, set or costume production, or even as audience members. The Browns have poured into community theater in Lubbock since 1998, and their involvement continues to help the performing arts scene flourish.
